Rds = rounds toward the 7 for the playoffs (a round held out because a new player’s practice rounds weren’t done isn’t one). Pts = your best 7 weekly scores, −2 for each missed week, and any dues penalty (−2 a week while unpaid) — penalties always count. Equal totals: more points over all the weeks played (missed weeks off, dues penalties left out), then the better Week 9 finish, then a 9-hole playoff once the season is over. ▲▼ shows places moved since the week before.

Top 10 with at least 7 rounds qualify. Seeds 1–6 get a first-round bye; 7 v 10 and 8 v 9 play in for the last two places in the eight-player double-elimination bracket.

How points work

Ranked by net. Each week, every submitted card is ranked by net score: 1st = 20, 2nd = 19 … 20th = 1.
Ties in a week. the lower net score on the #1 handicap hole (the hardest) wins, then on #2, #3 and so on until the tie is broken. Players with the same net score on every hole share the higher place’s points, and the next place is skipped. How weekly ties are broken isn’t final yet: Kevin is to confirm it.
Missed week: −2. No card by Sunday night, or a card never submitted, counts as a missed week. A card held out for “no handicap yet” or “practice rounds not finished” counts as played, but one held out for practice rounds doesn’t count toward the 7 rounds for the playoffs.
Best 7 count. Only your best 7 weekly scores add up. Missed-week and dues penalties always count.
Dues. Unpaid when Week 1 starts: −2. Each later week still unpaid: another −2 and a $20 late fee, paid to Kevin.
Tied in the standings. More points over all the weeks played (missed weeks off, dues penalties left out), then the better Week 9 finish. Still level when the season is over: a 9-hole playoff for the higher spot.
New players count from the week they join — earlier weeks stay as they were. Their league rounds are scored once their 3 practice rounds (Wolf Creek Golf Club, Chambers Bay Golf Course, Aldarra GC) were all played before the day of that league round.
Team weeks. One card per team. The scramble plays team strokes (50% of the lower partner’s handicap plus 25% of the higher’s); in the shamble each partner plays off 80% of their own handicap and the better net on each hole counts. Each partner who played gets the team’s points: 20, 18, 16 …. On no team card that week = a missed week.
